The Uttar Pradesh police on Friday placed several hoardings across Lucknow recognizing those accused of violence during the protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. Outraged netizens, ask Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to show up the courage to do the same and put out posters of Shahrukh & Tahir Hussain.

List of accused

The names put up in a huge poster had photographs and residential addresses of the accused. Not just that, they were also asked to pay for the damage to public and private property within a specified time or have their properties seized by the district administration.

The list of accused in this hoarding included retired IPS officer S.R Darapuri, lawyer and activist Mohammad Shoaib, Congress member Sadaf Jafar, teacher Robin Verma, cultural activist Deepak Kabir and Dalit activist Pawan Rao Ambedkar.

Praising CM Yogi Adityananth, netizens question Delhi Chief minister to why a similar process was not followed in the nation’s capital. Twitter urged Arvind Kejriwal to show some courage and display the names of Shahrukh, Tahir Hussain, Anurag Thakur and Kapil Mishra in the posters.
