Let me tell you that in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah announced the abolition of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. In this regard, the State Reorganization Bill 2019 submitted by Shah was passed in the Rajya Sabha by two-thirds.
The bill was passed by the Lok Sabha on Tuesday with a two-thirds majority. The State Reorganization Commission bill has come into effect after it was approved by President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday.
