Business meters will also be exempt.
Government will get the revenue of 600 crores. This scheme will benefit millions of consumers. At present, arrears of 2500 crore domestic meters and arrears of 1500 crore commercial meters are outstanding.
These people will get benefit by giving relief to pay the remaining water bill till now, the Delhi government has waived their bill. People of all categories will get the benefit of this. In this, the bill of people living in E, F, G and H category areas has been completely waived. At the same time, people of A and B categories have been asked to forgive 25 percent bill. At the same time, 50 percent of the people falling in the C category and D category people have been allowed to waive the 75 percent bill.
