According to reports, Shah said that the implementation of the CAA was suspended due to coronavirus pandemic. “Mamata didi said we made a false promise. He said that Mamata Banerjee would not be in a position to oppose the enforcement of the CAA as she will no longer be the Chief Minister after the assembly elections in the state.
