According to the All India Association, gold rose by Rs 25 today in the national capital, taking its price to Rs 38,995 per 10 grams. This is the new highest level of gold. According to the association, gold rose due to weakness in the rupee. Gold prices have been touching a new all-time high since last Tuesday. On the other hand, silver remains at its old price of Rs 45,100 per kg. Globally, gold was at $ 1,496.30 an ounce and silver at $ 17.11 an ounce in New York.

According to the All India Bullion Association, today gold of 99.9 percent purity rose by Rs 25 to Rs 38,995 per 10 grams and 99.5 per cent purity rose by Rs 5 to Rs 38,825 per 10 grams in the national capital. Sovereign gold held steady at Rs 28,800 per 8 grams.
