Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho, arguably one of the much-awaited releases of 2019, has been leaked online within a few hours of its release. Not coming as much a surprise, the people responsible behind this leak were Tamil Rockers.
Currently, Saaho, starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, is available for download online thanks to the torrent site Tamil Rockers. The movie marked Prabhas’ return post the magnum pous Baahubali, which went on to make Box Office records upon its release.
Tamil Rockers has been leaking movies almost every week after the release. Their list extends from Judgementall Hai Kya, Petta, Viswasam, Vanathaan Rajavathaan Varuven, Gully Boy, Thugs of Hindostan and even Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth starrer 2.0.
The Government has banned the website, but it continues to leak movies. In February, members of the Film Federation of India (FFI) protested against piracy. Madras High Court had also intervened in the actions, but Tamil Rockers continues to operate, leaking various movies.
Saaho, which was previously slated for Independence Day release, now will have a solo release on August 30, 2019. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and T-Series, Saaho is Prabhas’ debut in Hindi films. He had last appeared in the lead role in SS Rajamouli’s epic drama Baahubali. Apart from Prabhas and Shraddha, the movie also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Chunky Panday, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma and Mandira Bedi in pivotal roles.
