With this innings, Pant played the highest run innings for any Indian wicketkeeper in T20 format. Till now this record was in the name of former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In 2017, Dhoni scored 56 runs in a T20 match against England. Dhoni was the only Indian player to play a half-century in the wicketkeeper T20 format. Now Rishabh Pant has also achieved this feat. Apart from Dhoni and Pant, no player is named in this list.

100 runs partnership with Kohli

India had a target of 147 runs in the last T20 match. In reply, Team India did not start well and Shikhar Dhawan got out in this match by playing only 5 balls.
