Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader, and MP from Wayanad made a big statement on Tuesday, breaking the silence on Article 370. He said that the Modi government did no good by ending Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP’s decision could endanger national security.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet on Tuesday that the country is made up of people and not pieces of land. If one thinks that the land is bigger or smaller due to more land, then it can be called a big mistake.

He has also severely accused the Modi government of misusing executive powers in Jammu and Kashmir, drunk on power.

Modi government killed the constitution, said Ghulam Nabi Azad

Earlier on Monday, on the proposal made by Home Minister Amit Shah to abolish Article 370 in Rajya Sabha, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that we are with the Constitution of India.

We will put an end to life for the protection of the Constitution of India. But today BJP has assassinated the Constitution.

Congress leader in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad said that today is a dark day in terms of Indian democracy. He issued a joint statement on behalf of the opposition parties, saying that BJP abolished Article 370 in one stroke of power.
